SPRING 2016 \ PIERCE 61 CLASS NOTES Richard "Rich" McClane '02 writes, "On January 2, I placed 3rd in a Ralph Macchio look-alike contest that was held in Anaheim, California." Gary Gaudette '03 , MBA '06 writes, "I earned my BS (2003) and MBA (2006) from Franklin Pierce College/ University (the ofcial dates may be 2004 and 2007 as I participated in the graduation ceremonies, and they were after I had completed each program). I have received a couple of very humbling honors from the National Association of Credit Management. In 2014, I received their O.D. Glaus Credit Executive of Distinction Award, and was also elected to the Chair position for NACM (Chair elect in 2015, Chair in 2016). My term began at the start of the year and just returned from (New Orleans) our frst in-person meeting of the Board this year." Keith Brugnani AA '04 , '09 , MS '14 is currently living in Randolph, Mass., and works as a Webmaster for the MBTA. Keith received his third degree from Franklin Pierce in May 2014, a Master of Science in Information Technology. Previous to this degree, Keith received both an Associate and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Franklin Pierce in 2004 and 2009. Heather (Gaj) Fagan '04 reports, "We just had our second child on 12/4/15. His name is Colton Kenneth Fagan. His proud big sister (16 months old) is Raelynn Grace Fagan. My husband (Jason Fagan) and I will be celebrating our 5-year wedding anniversary this year as well. I am currently instructing dance at Dance Solutions located in Western Mass. We currently reside in our Connecticut home." Jessica Murante '04 recently moved from Vermont back to her home state of Pennsylvania after accepting an amazing job opportunity to become an Insurance Advisor for Brown & Brown's new high-net-worth insurance division, Ascentin. She recently received her CISR designation and is happily living her life back in the civilized world near her family and friends. She writes and blogs in her free time. Jennifer (Melnyk) Partyka '04 updates, "I graduated with the class of 2004. I got married in 2014 and recently had a baby boy in August. Other exciting news, besides my full-time job in pharmaceuticals, is that my husband and I started a new local business. Looking forward to Alumni Weekend in June!" Rosheen M. (McGrail) Kosko '03 writes, "Hi there FP Alumni. My husband is also a Franklin Pierce alum, Michael S. Kosko III '04. We welcomed our 2nd child, a son named Michael Samuel Kosko IV, on April 10, 2015. Big Sister, Margaret Kosko (5), was excited and has been adjusting very well. She is an amazing big sister. She will be starting Kindergarten this coming fall!! We can't believe it. It goes by too fast! We are truly blessed. I started a new job in August of 2015 working for COWI North American, Inc. in Trumbull, Conn., as a Project Administrator. COWI NA, Inc. is a worldwide civil engineering frm that specializes in marine, tunnel, and bridge engineering. My husband celebrates his 10th year at Guildford Family Services as the Youth Prevention Specialist. He is proud to be Co-Directing and Producing in his 9th annual Musical for Guildford Family Services. This year will be Shrek 'Junior' the Musical. The children are true stars in these productions! Happy New Year! Hope to get up to Rindge soon for a visit! It's been way too long." Tara (Pietraszuk) Shollenberger '04 has written her third novel, The Ten Year Reunion, which came out May 10. Synopsis: Ten years ago, Danielle 'Dani' Jackson graduated from Coastal State University in Wilmington, N.C., and left her heartache behind–for what she thought was forever. Now a promising pediatric surgeon at Boston Children's Hospital, she is invited back for her college reunion. With the encouragement from her best friend, Dani begrudgingly goes back and faces her past–the death of her friend and her broken heart from Jake Dillon, her frst love. Tara's second novel, On the Edge, was released June 9, 2015. Synopsis: Andy Parker is a war widow raising her 15-year-old daughter on her own. Hayden Grace dreams of becoming a professional snowboarder, and Andy is doing everything she can to make that happen. When Hayden Grace's passion begins to falter, Andy is at a loss for how to re-inspire her daughter. Andy does her best balancing Hayden Grace's competition schedule, practice, and school with her own work schedule at home, in the city, and on the mountain. But work starts to demand more from Andy. Cassandra "Cassie" (DuClau) duCharme '04 writes, "Celebrating 2nd year of employment at Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, the state's leading organization assisting homeless and at-risk veterans fnd housing and employment. Russell and I are also celebrating the 1st Birthday of our son, Xander Jonnathon Robert duCharme, born November 17, 2014."
