SPRING 2016 \ PIERCE 63 CLASS NOTES summa cum laude with a BA in mass communication, a concentration in journalism, and a minor in advertising. While there, he served as editor-in-chief of the University's Pierce Arrow newspaper and also wrote content for the Boston Bruins website. Shannon Force '09 is living in Maryland and working for Red Hawk Fire and Security as a Service Sales Rep. Courtney Menswar '09 gave birth to a healthy baby girl on August 12, 2015. Evelyn is looking forward to making her frst visit to Franklin Pierce in the future! Diana Rudha '09 is currently living in Chicago, Ill., working as an Automation Team Lead for Coyote Logistics. 10s Abbie Tumbleson '10 was hired as the new Content Director and Managing Editor for Brass Media, Inc. in Corvallis, Ore., in Spring 2015. Christopher M. Ahearn, M.Ed '11 writes, "Earned a M.Ed in 2011. I now live in New York City with my wife and dog. Still rooting for the Red Sox in the heart of Yankee Nation. I am now Director of Partnerships for Reach the World, a NYC-based nonproft that helps create students who have the skills and values needed to be successful in an increasingly globalized world. I work with teachers here in NYC and nationwide to incorporate our program into their classrooms." Anthony Chighisola '12 , '14 has started a new job in Braintree, Mass., at Archbishop Williams High School this past year. He works in Admissions and is also the Young Alumni Relations manager at the school. He also moved to Braintree recently. Angeline (Lafamme) Knights-Pelletier '12 writes, "Franklin Pierce was a family thing for me—my father worked there for fve years in Campus Safety, my older sister graduated from there, and my younger brother also graduated from there. I wanted to share an update on myself and my husband, Michael Knights-Pelletier '12, a member of the men's soccer team. We met senior year in the bubble and have been together ever since. We just had our wedding on June 13 and many other Pierce alumni were there. We are currently living in Germany, where my husband is stationed for the U.S. Army, and I teach. It has been a wonderful journey, and we both still have our Pierce Pride! " Chelsea (Martin) Mason '12 writes, "I married my best friend, Tyler, on August 22, 2015, and we bought our frst home together in November!" Tracy Mendham '12 writes, "One Franklin Pierce diploma isn't enough for some of us. When I heard we had a new bachelor's degree in Social Media and Emergent Technology, I wanted to be part of this cool new venture at the University. I'm now in my second semester of courses in the program and enjoy being an undergraduate again!" Dan Champigny '13 is in his last year of physician assistant school at Pennsylvania State University. He graduates in May with his master's degree and plans to work in emergency medicine or cardiology. Colleen Ward '13 reports, "Since graduating I worked for two years in a physical therapy clinic preparing for PT school and recently began the DPT program at The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas. I am very thankful that FPU added the health science curriculum during my senior year so that I was able to be exposed to classes such as kinesiology and Scott Marshall '07 reports, "Scott and Paola are happy to announce the birth of their daughter, Amara Lorelai, on February 27, 2015. In addition, Scott is completing his MBA at Bentley University in May 2016." Michelle Barbeau '11 , '13 writes, " I was promoted to Associate Director of Enrollment and Retention at the Manchester campus at Franklin Pierce University. I had an awesome vacation to Nashville, Tenn., with fellow FPU alumni: Elizabeth Squire '12, Brianna Geagan '11, and Nicole Heavey '11. Photo taken in Coyote Ugly Bar in Nashville."
