44 PIERCE / FALL 2016 FACE TO FACE The Franklin Pierce Alumni Association Board of Directors (AABOD) oversees efforts to advance, support, and foster lifelong bonds between alumni, students, and the University. These volunteers demonstrate service, leadership, and Pierce Pride, along with a strong understanding of the mission of the Alumni Association and the University. The AABOD is essential in helping to plan and coordinate Alumni Reunion Weekend and multiple events held across Pierce's five campuses around the country. These dedicated volunteers also oversee the Alumni Scholarship Programs and Alumni Service Awards, and support current students with career mentoring and providing networking opportunities.
