Long touted within academic circles as vital to skills development, experiential learning opportunities allow students to participate in hands-on research or work, where they can apply their classroom knowledge to real-world problems. They might achieve this through internships or by collaborating alongside professors in a lab. But opportunities might be scattered and students may have to fi nd them on their own.
